MCASB's Emerging Leaders in the Arts (ELA) program is proud to present The Omitted Pop-Up Art Market, organized by Samantha Atherton, on Saturday, December 14 at Casa de la Guerra (15 E De La Guerra St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101) in downtown Santa Barbara. The Omitted Pop-Up Art Market features artists of color, queer artists, and underrepresented artists, who will be displaying a variety of media including ceramics, jewelry, clothing, art prints, and much more. With over 15 diverse art vendors, delicious gluten-free Guatemala cuisine from Elubia's Kitchen, and tunes by Val-Mar Records, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Bring your friends and family to this unique holiday market and discover one-of-a-kind gifts, while supporting your local community! The Omitted Pop-Up Art Market is a result of Samantha's year-long ELA project that provides local artists that are often “omitted”, a platform to gain the recognition they deserve.
Vendors include: Adriana Arriaga, Kamilla Bello, Helena Boelcke, An Bui, Gina Vanni Duran, Hana Graham, Mindy Lucio, Cher Martinez, Carmen Sandoval, Stella Scheim, Megan Spencer, Somos Semillas Collective, Uli von Stein, Swampwater, Lena Szerwo, Mali Szerwo, Tiana Lee, The Unblended Collective, Unicorn Snacks Resin, Wildarts Collective.
