Mask Making
Throughout their career the artist collective assume vivid astro focus (avaf) has used masks to examine questions of identity and freedom of expression. On the template provided, you may collage images and add a variety of materials from sources like comics, club culture, and contemporary media to your mask.

Community Mural
The interactive mural, designed by the artists using archival imagery, combines paint and fiber in unconventional ways, playing off the materiality of the rugs . You are invited to participate by painting shapes or glueing fiber to the colored areas.
Coloring and decorating “Zentangle Style”
Choose a template of the community mural, the avaf logo or a variety of geometric Yantras, a geometric diagram used in meditation, honoring the mixed media installation of Cambodian artist Khvay Samnang, Footprints of Yantra Man which addresses the role of drawings and objects as forms of resistance against war and colonial oppression.
