Kendra Ware – Notes from the Underground

Kendra Ware performs excerpts from her autobiographical, one-woman piece, "Notes from the Underground." Through her experience with the troubling issues within the United States judicial system, Ware attempts to understand acts of resistance and their repercussions in our society. Previously performed at REDCAT in Los Angeles, her part demonstration, part multi-media performance explores circumscribed behavioral responses towards what is deemed acceptable, versus immoral or unnatural, and how the past informs our present attitudes.
